The New Zealand Warriors have signed South Sydney Rabbitohs and New Zealand international Hooker Isaac Luke on a three-year deal, starting from 2016.
The international hooker had two-years left remaining on his contract with the 2014 NRL Champions, but has been granted an early release to move to his home nation.
Former South hooker Apisai Koroisau also left the club at the end of the 2014 season, leaving Souths a difficult job to replace Isaac Luke for the 2016 season.
On the move, the 27-year old told the Warriors' official website: "“I’ve been away from home for a long time now and I really miss it.
“I’ve loved playing for the Rabbitohs. They’ve done so much for me but I wanted to go back to New Zealand at some stage and I’m grateful they’ve allowed me to go.
“Going home to play for the Warriors has always been something I wanted to do. I know so many of the boys there and I also like what’s happening at the club since Jim [Doyle, Manager Director] has taken over.”"
