The Wakefield Wildcats have announced the signing of Jordan Tansey from the Catleford Tigers on an 18-month deal, effective immediately.
The announcement comes just a day after the signing of fullback Kevin Locke.
The utility back started his career at Leeds, and has gone on to appear for Sydney Roosters, Hull FC and the Crusaders before joining the Tigers for the 2013 season.
So far this season, Tansey has appeared 13 times for the Tigers, scoring 6 tries, including a try against Wakefield back in May.
On the signing, Wakefield chairman Michael Carter told the club's official website: “I am delighted to welcome Jordan Tansey to the club. Jordan will provide a genuine competition across all of our back players.
“I would also like to thank Castleford Tigers and Steve Gill for their cooporation in making this move possible. Relations between the two rival clubs off the field have never been better.”
