10 days until the season starts, and we've some practice, so I'm hoping you all know what shirt number we're looking at today....
The big number 10!
Jamie Peacock - This name will be the first name to pop up into any Super League fan's head, I can imagine. There's no way I was going to leave this player out.
This 2011 Man of Steel award winner has had an amazing career, and is a truly inspirational player. The attendance at his testimonial game yesterday, which saw Leeds defeat the Bradford Bulls at Headingley, shows just how loved this forward is: Not just as a player, but as a man, too. (The attendance was over 11,000!).
Even though he's not the captain of Leeds, he knows how to get his troops pumping and leads his side by example, just as Sinfield does.
In the 2014 Super League season, Peacock made the most carries (519), made the fourth most amount of metres (3248), the fourth most amount of off-loads (49), the tenth most amount of tackles (780) and even made a single run from dummy half. Is there anything this player can't do?!
As always, Peacock is set to have another inspirational year and he'll be hopeful that Leeds can finally return to Old Trafford.
Let's hope it's not his last.
Craig Huby - Huby had an impressive season in 2014 with the Castleford Tigers, and the Huddersfield Giants certainly agree, signing him on a four-year deal and instantly giving him the number 10 shirt for the 2015 season. He must have made quite an impression!
The long-bearded, 28-year-old prop was loved by all Castleford fans last season, and I'm sure they were all disappointed to lose the talented forward - although, it didn't come as much of a surprise.
Huby is a hard-working, determined player that the Tigers could have relied on to make big metres up the field (a total of 2232 altogether), being a strong carrier of the ball and very sharp in defence, too.
This player will be hoping to impress all the Giants fans next season and I don't think it's too late for him to make an England appearance soon-in-the future.
Note: Huby never made a run from dummy-half in 2014, so he's not quite Peacock just yet!
Ashton Sims - 'The most anticipated player of the 2015 season' is something I'd have printed on the back of his shirt. If you say you're not excited to see this man in action, you're lying.
The Fijian-international (who also captain Fiji in the 2014 Pacific Rugby League International) is set to have a brilliant year with the Warrington Wolves, and I can assure you that he will. The ex-St George IIIawarra Dragons, Brisbane and Cowboys forward has already had a superb career and it's safe to say he's going to impress the whole of the Super League in 2015.
In my opinion, he's one of the hardest-working, best forwards in the world - and this is coming from a Wigan fan! He's strong, powerful and manages to cause mayhem time-and-time again for the opposition's defence.
If Asotasi can improve compared to the 2014 season, and with the likes of Hill, Grix, Westwood and Harrison, Warrington's pack are looking like the best pack of the 2015 season.
I can't wait to see Sims in action.
