Catchy title, right? I made it myself, would be something I would be proud to say, but unfortunately I'm not that imaginative. Thanks to Andrew Jarrett for the name, @andyjay16. Him and @magickman1970 come up with some funny stuff, give them a follow on Twitter! Anyway, to the game:
Clash of the bottom two teams of the First Utility Super League table. Many will argue that is how they will finish at the end of the 2014 season, too. But could they surprise us this season? Well, first they have to face each other in a big bottom of the table clash match.
Bradford go into this game losing one of their main props before kick off, in Nick Scruton, who today joined the Wakefield Wildcats for an undisclosed fee. Big lose just before a big game.
Both sides have named their 19-man squads for tomorrow's fixture, which could see a few good battles between players. Here are my pick of the battles:
Battle of the Fullbacks: Brett Kearney vs Nesiasi Mataitonga. Experience vs little experience. This could prove to be a good clash. Brett Kearney is a good leader and a good performer for his team. He knows his way to the try line, scoring 52 tries for the Bulls and will be looking to get Bradford back on track in their performances. On the other hand, Mataitonga has little experience. However, this won't stop him from making a big impact in this game. He will be playing at his best to also get his team their first win of the 2014 season, which could move London out of the relegation zone.
Battle of the Hookers: Matt Diskin vs Scott Moore. Both have been named in their team's 19-man squads and I'm more than sure they will be used, too. Both very experienced Hookers and between them they have made over 450 appearances. Matt Diskin has been at the Bulls for a couple of years now and is a hardworking player. He isn't known for his try scoring, only having 12 to his name, but nevertheless he is very hardworking. Scott Moore has played for 6 different teams before joining London. He already has 3 try-assists to his name this year and has already made 58 tackles. This will be a good battle for fans to look out for.
London look like they will be giving new arrivals Drinkwater and Farrar. New signing Vae has not been included in their 19-man sqaud. Australian prop Nick Slyne is also set to play his first game for the London Broncos
Bradford Bulls 19-man squad: Addy, Bridge, Diskin, Donaldson, Gale, George, Foster, Henry, Kear, Kearney, Manuokafoa, Mullally, O'Brien, Olbison, Purtell, Roberts, Scruton, Sidlow, Walker.
London Broncos 19-man squad: Atkins, Bishay, Caton-Brown, Cook, Cunningham, Drinkwater, Farrar, Forster, A Foster, Griffin, Greenwood, Lovell, Mataitonga, McMeeken, Minns, Moore, Krasniqi, O'Callaghan, Slyney.
Score prediction: Bradford Bulls 38-22 London Broncos.
