New South Wales and Australia representative Greg Bird (left) has been stripped from his captaincy at his club, the Gold Coast Titans after he was caught urinating in public.
Greg Bird was found urinating beside a police car a day after his wedding day in Byron Bay his month.
Greg Bird has also been charged $15,000 by his club for his actions and has been warned that his contract will be torn up if he is to misbehave again.
James Roberts has also been fined by the club for misconduct for $3,000 after he was arrested during a night-out in October.
On the incidents, Gold Coast Titans Chief Executive said: “All players need to accept personal responsibility for their actions and recognise that incidents of this nature not only damage the reputation and commercial prospects of the club, but also bring the image of the NRL and the game of Rugby League into substantial disrepute"
